White Beach is why most people come to Boracay, but it isn’t the whole trip. An island hopping tour, a stop at Puka Beach and a half-day at Ariel’s Point are the three things that most visitors add on. Here’s what each one actually involves.

Island hopping

A group boat tour out of White Beach, usually sold in three tiers that differ mainly by the lunch included:

  • Basic, no lunch, the cheapest package.
  • Standard, a local Filipino meal without seafood.
  • Premium, a seafood spread.

All three were listed at around 5 hours, with hotel pickup, snorkel gear and a life vest included. A private boat is also available, with a per-person rate that drops as the group gets bigger.

Puka Beach

A quieter, shelled beach on the island’s northern tip, away from the three stations. If you’re staying nearby, an e-trike there and back is the cheaper and less rushed way to see it; most island hopping tours only give you 30-40 minutes on the sand as one stop among several.

Ariel’s Point: cliff diving and jumping

A half-day trip to a private cliffside spot with five jump platforms ranging from 3 to 15 metres, reached by boat transfer from White Beach. Packages commonly bundle in kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, snorkelling, drinks and a BBQ buffet lunch. You don’t have to jump from the highest platform, or jump at all, to make the trip worthwhile.

Can I get to Puka Beach without a tour?

Yes. An e-trike from any station was quoted at roughly ₱40-80 one way on 11 October 2026, and you can stay as long as you like. Arriving as a stop on an island hopping tour instead usually gives you only 30-40 minutes on the beach before the boat moves on.

How much does Ariel's Point cliff diving cost?

The standard package, boat transfer from White Beach, five jump platforms from 3 to 15 metres, kayaking, paddleboarding, snorkelling, drinks and a buffet lunch, was listed around ₱2,500-3,500 per person on 11 October 2026. Confirm the current price and what's included before booking, packages vary by operator.

Is Ariel's Point safe for non-swimmers or people afraid of heights?

The lowest platform is around 3 metres and operators generally let you choose which height to jump from, including not jumping at all and just swimming, kayaking or paddleboarding instead. If you're a weak swimmer, say so when you book so the operator can brief you properly, and follow the operator's own safety briefing.

Can I do island hopping, Puka Beach and Ariel's Point all in one day?

Not comfortably as full activities. Island hopping tours already run around 5 hours and often include a Puka Beach stop; Ariel's Point is typically sold as its own half-day trip. Most itineraries give Ariel's Point its own day rather than stacking it onto the island hopping tour.
