Day 1: arrive and settle in

Cross from Caticlan to Boracay by boat and settle into whichever station fits your trip, Station 2 for restaurants and tour operators within walking distance, Station 1 for something calmer, full comparison in where to stay in Boracay. Which port you use depends on the season: Caticlan Jetty Port to Cagban Port in the dry Amihan season (roughly October-March), or Tabon Port to Tambisaan Port in the wet Habagat season (roughly April-September). At the port building, you fill out a short arrival form and pay fees at separate windows before boarding, a pump boat ticket at ₱50-100 and a ₱300 environmental fee that covers your whole stay and is only charged once, on first entry. The terminal fee is ₱150 charged once during Amihan season, but splits to ₱100 on arrival and ₱50 on departure during Habagat season, last checked 12 October 2026, cross-checked against myboracayguide.com’s Caticlan-Boracay fee guide, updated 21 July 2026. Arriving by early afternoon leaves time to walk White Beach and book Day 2’s island hopping tour through your guesthouse or a tour desk.

Day 2: island hopping and Puka Beach

A group boat tour out of White Beach, usually around 5 hours with hotel pickup, snorkel gear and a life vest, with a Puka Beach stop built in. Full pricing by package tier is in Boracay island hopping, Puka Beach and Ariel’s Point cliff diving. If you’d rather see Puka Beach without the tour’s rushed 30-40 minute stop, an e-trike out there on its own is the cheaper, slower alternative covered on the same page.

Day 3: Ariel’s Point, then a sunset sail

Spend the morning and early afternoon at Ariel’s Point, a half-day trip with boat transfer, five jump platforms and usually kayaking, paddleboarding and a buffet lunch included, same page as above for current pricing. Ariel’s Point trips typically wrap up well before 5pm, which leaves time for a 30-minute sunset paraw sail to close out the trip.

Questions people ask

Is 3 days enough for Boracay?

Yes, for the main things most visitors come for: White Beach itself, one day of island hopping with a Puka Beach stop, and one day combining Ariel's Point with a sunset paraw sail.

What shouldn't I skip in 3 days on Boracay?

White Beach itself, obviously, plus one organised activity day. Island hopping is the most efficient way to see Puka Beach and get snorkelling in, see things to do in Boracay.

Can I do Ariel's Point and paraw sailing on the same day?

Yes. Ariel's Point is typically a half-day trip that wraps up by early afternoon, which leaves room for a 30-minute sunset paraw sail afterwards, see Boracay paraw sunset sailing for the timing.

Which station should I base myself in for this itinerary?

Depends on whether you want to be near restaurants and tour operators, or somewhere calmer. See Day 1: arrive and settle in above for the station comparison.

Do I need to book island hopping and Ariel's Point in advance?

This itinerary assumes you book both a day ahead through your guesthouse or a tour desk.

How do I get to Boracay to start this itinerary?

A short boat crossing from Caticlan, the port used depends on the season. See Day 1: arrive and settle in above for the fees and sourcing.

How much does the Caticlan to Boracay crossing cost in total?

Around ₱500-550 on first entry in Amihan season (pump boat, ₱150 terminal fee, ₱300 environmental fee combined). In Habagat season the terminal fee splits into ₱100 on arrival and ₱50 on departure, so arrival comes to ₱450-500. Fees are paid at the jetty port building, not on the boat, last checked 12 October 2026.
